Game Design and Production

Making this game was quite a different experience from my other games. Most of the development centered around our team meeting at a table and walking each other through our thought process of how the game would play out and what each player would be able to do.

The core gameplay loop stands as such:

  • Collect ingredients.

  • Sabotage other players.

  • Make your dish.

My Contribution

My role in this project was an artists and designer and some of my contributions entailed:

​

  • Creating character cards and unique abilities that pertain to each player.

  • Balancing ingredient card requirements for recipes to make a smooth and comprehensible gameplay experience.

  • Implementing and designing event cards to create engagement.
